Celebrating Abigail's Eighth

One of our family traditions is that on your birthday you get to choose the menu for the entire day.
For breakfast Abigail chose homemade waffles with berries and peach smoothies
Another family tradition is that the morning of your birthday you get to open one gift of a new birthday outfit.
This year Abigail wanted to celebrate her birthday picking berries and having a picnic with the family on Sauvie Island.
It was such a hot day, so we enjoyed swimming at the beach on Sauvie Island too.
At the end of our long day out we came home, bathed, ate dinner, opened gifts, and for the cake I made a Vanilla Cherry Delight Cake
