A San Francisco Engagement Session :: Golden Gate Park and The Legion of Honor

Last night I had the privilege of capturing the beauty of the love between a couple who have become dear to me over this year living in San Francisco.  Annemarie and Ben arrived last year from living overseas as missionaries. Ben became our house mate and his kind, patient heart quickly won over our family especially Charlotte, our youngest.  We are all going to miss him.  Annemarie and I shared many moments talking about life, and God, and encouraging each other in our struggles of living in a new city.  These two were made for each other.  Annemarie brings a bright smile and excitement to life and Ben is steadfast and thoughtful while they are both always up for an adventure.  Thank you for the joy of photographing your engagement!!

once a month on the tenth taking a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours. Finding much life and beauty among the ordinary things of our day! 

 

Summer Birthday Surprise for my Three Girls

 

we celebrated with great joy our three girls' birthdays before our big move to san francisco.  life has been so crazy i'm just now getting the chance to post a few photos from our day.  it was such a sweet day and a well needed break from all of the packing and stress of moving.  we woke up early and headed out to seattle, where we surprised sophia by taking her to the american girl store.  she's been wanting an american girl doll, like abigail.  she told me countless times, "i want an pink princess american girl doll for my birthday."  she was overwhelmed and delighted with the surprise.  then we headed to the woodland park zoo for the rest of the day.  it was one of those days i want to hold in my memory forever.  to celebrate life, it is a gift.
